Bids were opened for the Kane Area School District K-8 Building Project on October 7, 2008. The Kane Area School Board awarded winning bids to the following contractors on October 9, 2008 at the regular monthly meeting.

Projected Timeline of Project
The KASD K-8 Building project has 5 different phases to project completion.
Phases 1, 1A and 2 started October 28, 2008.
Phase 3 started April 6, 2009.
